The Seinfeld Gap

george-costanzaI love Seinfeld. My girlfriend hates Seinfeld. I am 32. She is 28. Is the age dividing line for Seinfeld worship really that thin? She just doesn’t get it. Every night after (or sometimes during) dinner we watch a full hour of Seinfeld on TBS. Sometimes I will look over at her during some of the funniest scenes, and she is just staring at the TV in complete boredom. Actually, I think she is plotting my murder so that she will never have to see George Costanza again – who she finds completely repulsive in every way.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my girlfriend and we have many common interests and passions, but we just don’t seem to be able to connect on the love of Seinfeld. Actually, it kinda makes me questions her orientation as a human being. What sort of person does not love Seinfeld? Well, I guess a lot of people probably do not like it, but I can not understand how that is possible.

Anyway, this is a great video of some of the best Seinfeld moments:
