Your comment on poisoning led me to take a closer look. Apparenty 1/3 of the total is self-induced poisoning (or suicide), while 2/3 (it's that thirds thing again) result from accidental dosing or exposure to noxious substances. The accidental dosing thing is worrisome - is this happening in hospitals? The noxious substance may be more worrisome - maybe that new car smell is more expensive than we thought.
