About

Welcome to The Second Third!

If you are like me, you grew up in the 80’s and 90’s and experienced most of your critical developmental years in the early and mid 90’s.  Needless to say, as an adult, this leaves us with overwhelming emotional and behavioral deficits that only 90’s culture could have fostered.

I have found that many in our generation are struggling to cross the bridge into adulthood.  The lines are not as clear cut as they once were, traditions have been thrown aside, expectations are noticeably undefined, and the road to adulthood seems more like a maze than a smooth flowing thoroughfare.

Now that we are out of our 20’s, and the fun, carefree years are gone, we are left with one daunting question – What now?

This website seeks to answer this question by addressing the related issues that many of us face as we make the transition into the second third of our lives.  How do we achieve professional success ? How do we finance our futures?  How do we stay healthy?  How do we have fun? How do we dress?  How to we behave? What is acceptable? What is not? How do we deal with the unexpected pleasantries, and guaranteed hardships that life will bring us?

Please read and contribute as often as you would like.
